Rental Payments

Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Paypal, Bank, Cash in US$ , EUR or GB£
A deposit of 20% is to be paid through Visa or Mastercard. A renters booking is valid only when this deposit is received and the rental contracts are signed.

The balance is to be settled upon arrival.

Cancellations

We are a small specialized business: we have only few accommodations. Consequently, loosing business through no-shows has a big impact on the business as a whole. Still we would like our tenants to be able to cancel, should their plans change unexpectedly.

We will give them a refund as follows:

  • 50% of deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days or more before arrival date
  • 20% of deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 - 7 days before arrival date
  • No refund if cancellation is made within 6 days of arrival.

Our tenants have to make sure that they received our confirmation that indeed your reservation is cancelled. Even though e-mail is quite reliable, we would like to ensure that communication is clear and unambiguous.

Home & Away properties is not a hotel. We offer a complete home. So our tenants can live like an Amsterdammer for the time of their stay.
